Xbox has recently revealed its plans for Gamescom 2024, promising an impressive lineup of over 50 games for attendees to enjoy. Among these games are titles such as Age of Mythology: Retold, Ara: History Untold, Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, and Fallout 76: Milepost Zero. The show will also feature playable demos of highly anticipated games like The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Road and Towerborne. In addition, the Xbox booth will showcase a variety of third-party titles, including Star Wars Outlaws, Space Marine 2, Atomfall, and STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl.
Aside from the playable titles, Xbox will also be presenting a selection of games exclusively through theatre presentations. Attendees can look forward to getting a glimpse of games like Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the first major expansion for Starfield, titled Shattered Space. While gamescom trailers typically do not feature groundbreaking news, they are expected to offer new gameplay footage and smaller surprises.
For those attending Gamescom 2024, the Xbox booth will be open from 9 am or 10 am CEST on each day of the event, running from August 22-25. However, for those unable to be there in person, Xbox will be livestreaming presentations on Twitch, Facebook, and YouTube over the first three days of the show. A special Xbox @ gamescom 2024 live presentation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 21, at 6:00 am PDT | 9:00 am EDT | 2:00 pm BST | 3:00 pm CEST, featuring highlights of STALKER 2, Atomfall, Age of Mythology: Retold, and more. Additionally, there will be a Bethesda Mainstream show. On Thursday, August 22, there will be another live show at the same time slot, showcasing titles like Star Wars Outlaws, World of Warcraft: The War Within, and Towerborne.
While the specifics of the schedule are yet to be finalized, Xbox has promised to provide more information closer to Gamescom 2024. Gamers are encouraged to keep an eye out for further updates on what to expect from Xbox’s participation in the event.
