Revolutionizing Strategy Gaming: Industrial Annihilation

Industrial Annihilation is a groundbreaking game that combines the elements of Planetary Annihilation and Factorio. The game features big robot armies battling it out on a planet while also incorporating factory management aspects such as conveyor belts. This unique mashup of genres promises to deliver an exciting and challenging gaming experience for players.

After a successful campaign on StartEngine earlier this year, Industrial Annihilation recently completed a funding round on Kickstarter. The campaign exceeded its initial goal of £152,299 ($200k) and raised a total of £233,597. This funding allowed the game to unlock several stretch goals, including an original soundtrack release and the addition of extra skins and units. The game now has a total of $820,284.30 (around £624k) in funding from both platforms.

Investment Platform vs. Crowdfunding

While Kickstarter is a well-known crowdfunding platform, StartEngine operates as an investment platform. This difference allows games like Industrial Annihilation to raise capital through multiple avenues on their journey to release. By utilizing both platforms, the game was able to secure the funding needed to continue development and reach its goals.

Fans of strategy games like Supreme Commander will find a lot to love in Industrial Annihilation. The game offers a fresh take on the genre by focusing on the challenge of efficiently constructing bases and optimizing factory production. The emphasis on factory efficiency adds a new layer of complexity to the traditional real-time strategy gameplay, making it a unique and engaging experience for players.

Although the Kickstarter campaign has ended, interested players can still make late pledges to support Industrial Annihilation. Additionally, more information about the game can be found on its Steam page. With the successful funding round behind them, the development team is now focused on delivering an Early Access release before the end of 2024. Players can look forward to experiencing the innovative gameplay and strategic challenges that Industrial Annihilation has to offer.
