Maximizing Rewards in Apex Legends’ Inner Beast Collection Event

Players in Apex Legends have the opportunity to unlock Octane’s new Heirloom Weapon, the Octane’s Prototype butterfly knife, by collecting all 24 premium event cosmetics. This can be achieved without spending real-life cash, as there is a free reward track available to all players during the Inner Beast Collection Event.

To unlock the free reward track cosmetics in the event, players need to accrue Event Points (EP) by completing challenges found in the “Event Challenges” tab on the main lobby screen. These challenges offer a range of rewards, including character cosmetics, in-game currency, and more.

Completing the reward track in the Inner Beast Collection Event not only unlocks free cosmetic items but also grants players 50 Crafting Metals and 16 battle pass stars, providing a significant boost to their Breakout battle pass progress. Additionally, the color scheme of the free cosmetics matches that of the premium Collection Event cosmetics, adding further incentive for players to pursue them.

For those looking to acquire the premium cosmetics in the Inner Beast Collection, there are multiple options available. Players can purchase the 24 cosmetic items directly with Apex Coins (AC), craft them using Crafting Metals, or open Inner Beast Event Packs. These special packs cost 700 AC ($7 USD) each and contain one random item from the Inner Beast Collection, along with two items from the evergreen loot pool.

To obtain Octane’s new Octane’s Prototype Heirloom Set, players can use Crafting Metals to craft as many Epic-tier items as possible and then purchase the remaining cosmetics through Inner Beast Event Packs. By strategically crafting items before purchasing packs, players can minimize their spending while still unlocking the coveted Heirloom Set.

The Inner Beast Collection Event is scheduled to end on Tuesday, March 19 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET.
