Lost in Random, the cult fantasy adventure game, is set to receive a surprise sequel in 2025 called Lost in Random: The Eternal Die. Developed by Thunderful, the new title will continue the story of The Queen of Random, also known as Aleksandra, as she navigates her way through a “randomly generated gauntlet” filled with monstrous pawns and giant board games.
Unlike its predecessor, Lost in Random: The Eternal Die takes on a different approach by embracing the elements of a traditional roguelite game. The game is designed to rely heavily on randomness, offering players unique and unpredictable experiences during each playthrough. With random dice rolls for attacks adding to the chaos, players will have to adapt and strategize as they progress through the game.
The development team at Thunderful is pushing boundaries with this new installment while staying true to the captivating world and design principles of the original game. Game Director Martin Storm expressed excitement about expanding upon the world of Lost in Random and creating an action-packed, random-infused rogue-lite experience for players to enjoy. The team aims to deliver a whole new gameplay experience that builds upon the success of the first game.
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die is slated for release in 2025 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Players can already wishlist the game on Steam and other storefronts, eagerly anticipating the chance to dive back into the whimsical world of Lost in Random.
Lost in Random: The Eternal Die promises to be a thrilling and unpredictable adventure that builds upon the foundations laid by its predecessor. With a focus on randomness, challenging gameplay, and an evocative world, this sequel is set to captivate players and offer them a fresh gaming experience in 2025.
