Yacht Club Games has recently announced a new enhanced version of the original game, Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope. This updated version will include 20 new playable characters, online multiplayer, rewind/save states, cheats, and more. Fans of the original game can look forward to an enhanced gaming experience with additional features that will take their gameplay to the next level.
In addition to the enhanced version of Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope, Yacht Club Games also revealed new free DLC for Shovel Knight Dig titled “Wicked Wishes”. This DLC will offer players new adventures, quests, bosses, and more. Moreover, Shovel Knight Dig will be launching on Xbox and PlayStation platforms alongside the release of this exciting new content.
Another free DLC pack announced by Yacht Club Games is the “Paradox Pack” for Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon. This DLC will introduce mod support for PC players, new playable characters, new stages, secrets, challenges, and more. Fans can expect an enhanced gaming experience with this new content, set to release in the summer of 2024.
An update on Mina the Hollower was also provided by Yacht Club Games during their recent broadcast. The game is nearing completion, with all level content in the initial stages of development. Mina the Hollower has evolved to include an expansive overworld and more RPG elements than initially planned. Fans are eagerly awaiting a grand gameplay reveal in the near future.
Aside from the game updates, Yacht Club Games also announced several exciting collaborations and releases. This includes new merchandise partnerships with Insert Coin and Sanshee, a 10th anniversary Shovel Knight art book with Udon Entertainment, and limited T-Shirt drops on their merch store. Additionally, fans can look forward to upcoming new merch releases with Fangamer and Symbiote Studios, as well as a vinyl repress of Shovel of Hope featuring cover art by legendary artists Akira Kitamura and Hitoshi Ariga.
