Konami has recognized the issues surrounding the launch of the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. Production producer Noriaki Okamura has confirmed that a follow-up collection, Vol. 2, is in the works. Okamura expressed the company’s awareness of the rough launch of Vol. 1 and emphasized their determination to avoid repeating the same errors. In a recent episode of Konami’s Production Hotline series, Okamura hinted at significant enhancements for the upcoming collection. He mentioned that Metal Gear Solid 4 might finally make its way out of its 18-year confinement on the PS3. Additionally, Okamura revealed that a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake is already playable from start to finish, suggesting that the release date is not too far off.
