Marrying a Character
In order to marry a character in Unicorn Overlord, you must first acquire the Ring of Maiden. This item is obtained after completing the story quest “The Witch’s Word,” the final mission in Elheim, the region where the Elves reside. Elheim is typically the third region players complete after the initial section of Cornia. Players are given the choice to travel to either Elheim or Drakenhold after Cornia, with Elheim missions starting at a higher difficulty level.
Once you have obtained the Ring of Maiden, you will receive the quest “Unicorn and Maiden,” which can be found on Palevia, the starting island. Travel to Palevia using the port at Ouvrir Harbor, located off the western coast of Cornia. In Palevia, you will find a list of characters with whom you have reached maximum rapport. You can choose to perform the ritual with one of these characters, solidifying them as your romantic partner.
Romance Options
Unicorn Overlord offers a wide range of romance options, including both male and female characters. However, it is important to note that if you choose to perform the ritual with a male character, Alain will not marry them in the story, although they will still be your partner. Some characters are only accessible through side quests, and others may be missable depending on your choices throughout the game.
